We believe technology exists to make the world a better place. We're looking for an aspiring and inspiring tech journalist to work as part of the award-winning editorial team in our central London offices.

We want someone who can come up with ideas using analytics and social media trends, write great unique and engaging stories, and produce and refresh written, video and visual content. Ideally you will have some experience of IT- or business journalism, and an interest in covering the UK's vibrant and ever-changing tech scene. But primarily we are looking for talent, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. If you love technology and business, this is the role for you.

The Online Editor - Enterprise role is key to the performance of the CIO UK website. It is also a crucial role within the wider IDG editorial team.

Reporting to the CIO editor, and working closely with the editors of Techworld and ComputerworldUK, the Online Editor - Enterprise is principally responsible for ensuring deliver of high quality content on the CIO UK website. He or she will proof and post external contributor content, update and maintain high-traffic tentpole content, and generally ensure that each day the site is a compelling resource for the UK's most transformative tech leaders.

The Online Editor - Enterprise will be an advocate for CIO UK and the other IDG Enterprise brands, working to promote them internally and externally, to media contacts, industry, and the marketers who buy our audiences. Working alongside the brand editors, the editorial director and the publishing director, the Online Editor - Enterprise will continually update and refine processes, and contribute to strategy, in order to ensure all IDG Enterprise websites hit their commercial and editorial targets.

Critically, the Online Editor - Enterprise will also contribute, focusing on creating high-quality long-tail content for CIO. These stories will be principally focused on CIO UK, with one or more being for ComputerworldUK or Techworld.com as appropriate.

He or she will also contribute and finesse ideas for other team members, offering guidance on process, contacts and style, as well as feedback on completed work.
