Agenda for UK Biometricsworld Executive Conference Emphasizes International Cooperation

Frank Paul, the European Commission's head of Large-scale IT Systems Unit, will discuss the technical and legal aspects of the use of biometrics in documents and various IT applications, focusing on Justice and Home Affairs in the EU.

Martin Giles, assistant director of the UK Immigration Service, will present a case study examining the UK Home Office's Immigration and Asylum Fingerprinting Program, and will also discuss the integration of facial recognition technology.

Attendees will also hear from speakers such as Ralf Biesemeier of Germany's ZN Vision Technologies AG, Anne Carblanc from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Rick Lazarick from the United States' Transportation Security Administration, Philippe Larcher of France's SAGEM SA, and many other government and industry luminaries.
