Al Burton Productions and GamePro Magazine Form Strategic Partnership to Produce Video Game Programs
BEVERLY HILLS, CA – MAY 8, 2002 — Emmy-winning Television Producer, Al Burton, whose credits include the Comedy Central Hit WIN BEN STEIN'S MONEY (already picked up for its sixth and seventh season), "Mary Hartman", "Square Pegs", and "Charles In Charge", today announced a strategic alliance with GamePro magazine designed to bring the action and excitement of today's new video games to television audiences.
Al Burton Productions and GamePro will jointly produce a mainstream entertainment show on major TV networks and cable focusing on the video game industry. The show will highlight the hottest video games and console systems with exclusive editorial commentary and game ratings from GamePro’s editorial experts. The show’s target audience will be young male consumers who represent the fastest growing demographic in the world.
