Virus Throttling for ProCurve Switch 5300xl series from ProCurve by HP is a tool that detects virus-like activity as traffic enters the LAN and passes through the network switch. The solution developed by HP Labs, the company's central research facility, is the first to focus on the behavior of malicious code in a switch rather than on its content, so it can identify and respond to previous, as well as unknown threats. By focusing on blocking such code from spreading across VLANs, it addresses the immense network traffic that is one of the most destructive aspects of such code.

KDE 2.0 from InforSense Ltd. is an integrated analytics platform for enterprise-wide informatics. It is the first platform to provide scientists in research organizations with a way to collaborate on creative discovery processes using a flexible and interactive workflow that integrates software applications, databases and instruments. Integrated information can be analyzed in real time with a rich set of data mining algorithms and visualization facilities within KDE or external algorithms. Its Open Discovery Workflow technology enables scientists to build their own data/application integration without programming or scripting.

Inform 4.5 From Phase Forward is an Internet-enabled electronic data capture solution that reduces the inefficiencies, inaccuracies and cost associated with paper-based clinical trials. Using the Inform platform, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies can conduct clinical trials with electronically managed data. Inform 4.5 offers comprehensive real- time trial management reporting and analysis capabilities directly embedded within the product. The solution offers unprecedented visibility and access to both clinical and operation trial data to help sponsors make timely and intelligent clinical business decisions.

Insight Discoverer Extractor from TEMIS is an information extraction server dedicated to the analysis of text documents. It detects pieces of information that are the most relevant to users, such as a merger announcement for a financial analyst, an FDA approval for a competitive intelligence officer or a protein interaction in scientific literature for a biologist. The knowledge extraction is powered by Skill Cartridges(TM), a hierarchy of knowledge components describing the information to extract for a given business-specific field or topic. The product covers 16 languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Danish, Finnish, Swedish and Norwegian.
