Blade Systems Alliance To Host ”Blade Systems Pavilion” At Next Generation Data Center Conference & Expo
FRAMINGHAM, MA – MARCH 27, 2007 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows and events around the globe, has announced that Blade Systems Alliance (BladeS) will host the Blade Systems Pavilion at the inaugural Next Generation Data Center(TM) (NGDC(TM)). In addition to featuring some of the industry's leading vendors of modular and blade-based computing systems and technology, the pavilion will include a theater where attendees can listen to presentations on topics critical to data center and blade server implementations. NGDC is scheduled to take place August 6-9, 2007 at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, CA.
"This event presents us with a new opportunity to create high-level business and networking opportunities among the users and vendors of blade-based technologies," said Jim Hall, President, Blade Systems Alliance. "Participating in NGDC and sponsoring the Blade Systems Pavilion allows us to provide unbiased sources of information and insight for any attendee involved in the deployment and application of blade systems."
The Blade Systems Alliance was created to advance the adoption of modular and blade-based computing systems with an emphasis on: promoting multi-vendor standards for modular systems management and racking; addressing real-world data center and advanced computing issues; delivering programs and forums that educate the user community.
"Blade servers fulfill a critical and growing need to increase server performance without sacrificing the size, cost and complexity in managing the ever growing data center," said Melinda Kendall, Vice President, Next Generation Data Center. "The Blade Systems Pavilion will stimulate interactive dialogue between attendees and pavilion exhibitors on the latest industry trends, as well as how they can benefit from incorporating blade systems into their IT environment."
Exclusive exhibitor packages are being offered to members of Blade Systems Alliance interested in exhibiting on the NGDC show floor in their own property, or as part of the Blade Systems Pavilion.
