Call for Nominations Now Open for Computerworld’s “Best Practices in Mobile & Wireless” Awards Program
FRAMINGHAM, MA – April 1, 2008 – Mobile & Wireless World, in conjunction with Computerworld, is seeking IT user-organization case study submissions for its "Best Practices in Mobile & Wireless" Awards Program. Computerworld's Mobile & Wireless World annual awards program identifies and acknowledges excellence among users of Mobile & Wireless technology.
Eligible nominees are exclusively IT end-user organizations. Nominations of IT end-user organizations are accepted from IT users themselves, their public relations representatives, or vendors on behalf of their customers. Multiple submissions of case studies describing different deployments per organization will be considered.
Five Finalists in each category will be recognized at Computerworld's Mobile & Wireless World Conference, held June 9-10, 2008, at the Marriott Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, Florida. The top Honoree in each category will be recognized during a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Honorees and Finalists will be recognized on the event website and in an event press release.
Honorees and Finalists will be recognized in each of the following six categories:
— Maximizing the Value of Mobile-Intensive Applications
— Improving Business Processes by Mobilizing Field Workers
— Capitalizing on Convergence/Unified Communications
— Safeguarding the Wireless Infrastructure
— Adopting a Sensible Device Management Strategy
— Seizing Value from Emerging Wireless Technologies
End-user Finalists will receive complimentary registrations to attend Computerworld's Mobile & Wireless World Conference taking place right before the awards program.
