WASHINGTON, D.C., August 12, 1999 – Emerging companies from around the world will showcase their latest enterprise networking and telecommunications products, technologies, services and solutions to potential customers, investors and partners in a new, specially designated area at ComNet 2000, January 25-27 at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.
Named New Venture Alley, this exciting new exhibiting opportunity is dedicated to helping start-up companies that are less than three years old gain more exposure at the premier technology conference and exposition dedicated to communications networks. These innovative companies can now choose to participate in New Venture Alley to maximize their exposure and control their costs.

New Venture Alley companies must meet the following criteria:
* They must be less than three years old.
* They must not have exhibited in a booth larger than 10' by 10' in any exposition during the previous three years.
* They cannot be a previously existing business that has undergone a name change as a result of acquisition or spin-off.
* They must not be publicly owned or traded.
* The must list all products to be shown and date of release.
