Financial Insights Taps Former SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt to Keynote Insights 2003 Conference

FRAMINGHAM, MA – JUNE12, 2003 – Leading independent research and advisory firm Financial Insights today announced that former SEC Chairman, Harvey Pitt, will keynote its "Insights 2003" annual conference. John Bogle, founder of Vanguard, will also speak at the event, to be held September 3-4 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Boston.

The conference, themed "Taking the Lead: Innovate, Automate, Dominate," is designed to provide financial institutions with a view of today's market conditions, major trends and issues. Topics covered will include: the changing regulatory landscape; growing fraud problems, such as identity theft; the ever-shifting relationship between large corporate treasuries and their banks; evolution in the payments system; wealth management; channel integration and other hot industry topics. Bush to serve as the twenty-sixth Chairman of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. From 2001 until 2003, Pitt was responsible for overseeing the SEC's response to the terrorist attacks of 9/11, creating the SEC's "real time enforcement" program, and leading the Commission's adoption of dozens of rules in response to the corporate and accounting crises generated by the excesses of the 1990s.

John Bogle, Founder, The Vanguard Group, Inc. and President, The Bogle Financial Markets Research Center. Bogle created Vanguard in 1974 and served as Chairman/Senior Chairman through 1999.
