GAMEPRO MAGAZINE AND VERSUS BOOKS ANNOUNCE EXCLUSIVE PARTNERSHIP
SAN FRANCISCO,CA – MAY 11, 2000 – IDG Games Media Group, the world’s largest interactive entertainment information provider for multiplatform gaming enthusiasts and publisher of GamePro magazine: The World’s Largest Multiplatform Gaming Magazine, and GamePro.com: The World’s Premier Entertainment Destination for the Y-Generation, today announced an exclusive partnership with Versus Books, the quality leader in game strategy guides.
Under the terms of the agreement, GamePro magazine will include content from the best-selling line of Versus Books strategy guides in future issues. In addition, the two companies will develop co-branded online and print promotions that will include special offers on Versus strategy guides and subscriptions to GamePro magazine.

The first title to be featured will be Sony’s Wild Arms 2 for the PlayStation™ game console. A select eight pages from the Versus Books Official Wild Arms 2 Perfect Guide will appear in the August 2000 issue of GamePro magazine. Future titles for each of the major gaming platforms, to be announced, will appear in GamePro magazine’s fall and holiday issues.
