Hear It First From The MacExperts On The Macworld Conference & Expo Web Site

FRAMINGHAM, MA – APRIL 16, 2002 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for IT markets around the globe, today introduced the "MacExperts" industry leaders who will share their insights and expertise in a series of columns posted on the Macworld Conference & Expo Web site. Each column will feature a different MacExpert in the months leading up to the next Macworld Conference & Expo, which will take place July 15-19, 2002 at New York City’s Jacob K. MacExperts include popular figures in the Mac community who have previously served as speakers in the Macworld Conference & Expo conference program, and were selected on the basis of their expertise and enthusiasm for the Mac platform.

The first featured MacExpert is Bert Monroy, co-author of "The Official Adobe Photoshop Handbook," and author of "Bert Monroy: Photorealistic Techniques with Photoshop and Illustrator." Monroy, who will present a Users Conference session on "Photoshop Digital Creation: Uncanny Realism," at the upcoming Macworld in New York City, offers commentary on the upcoming event and the Mac community in the initial edition of the MacExperts column ¾ available online today. Subsequent columns by other MacExperts will focus on industry issues, forecasts and specific products. The next column will be posted on the Macworld site the week of April 29, 2002.
