The TechWords marketplace is an auction-based program for distributing online text ads. The ads are linked to contextually relevant editorial in the six IDG Web sites, which have approximately 5.5 million unique visitors every month. Using AdSonar technology, contextual ads are distributed based on a combination of bid price and click-through rate.
