IDG Communications Acquires from Accela Communications, Inc.

FRAMINGHAM, MA & SOUTHBOROUGH, MA. – JULY 16, 2007 – IDG Communications, a subsidiary of IDG, announced today that it has acquired the network and its database of several hundred thousand IT professionals from Accela Communications, Inc of Southborough. In addition to, the network includes,, and Under a prior agreement with IDG, has featured news and information from IDG media sources.

The sites will be maintained as a stand-alone brand.

Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
