IDG Entertainment Announces the Appointment of Senior Vice President of Business Development and Consumer Marketing

Effective today, Orum joins IDG Entertainment as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Consumer Marketing. In this newly created position, Orum will be responsible for driving circulation, aligning strategic partnerships for IDG Entertainment– branded products and services, and further enhancing interactive product development.

Orum joins the company with nearly 20 years of senior management experience in consumer marketing, and business development. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Interactive Media at Weider Publications, where he was responsible for overseeing interactive premium services development and related consumer marketing strategies for Shape, Men's Fitness, Muscle and Fitness, Fit Pregnancy, Natural Health, Flex, Fitness Hers, and the iShape brands. Prior to joining Weider, Orum was President of Internet Operations for Oxygen Media, and also served as President of Thrive Online, an AOL Time Inc. joint venture. Additionally, Orum held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Circulation at IDG's Macworld publication.
