IDG Entertainment Joins Forces with G4-Videogame TV, Forms New Online, Magazine and Broadcast Content Partnership Between GamePro Magazine, and G4’s ‘Filter’ Series beginning September 5

OAKLAND, CA – September 2, 2005 – IDG Entertainment (IDGE) has formed a multiplatform content programming partnership with Comcast-owned G4, the only 24/7 television network dedicated to all things videogames. Under the terms of the cross-promotional agreement, IDGE's and GamePro magazine will provide content and promotional programming for three episodes of G4's weekly half-hour countdown series "Filter."

Through IDGE's game site,, entertaining Top 10 game features can be rapidly published to garner user commentary and feedback. The most popular Top 10 list then becomes the basis for segments on three episodes G4's "Filter" as well as print articles in GamePro magazine, which each in turn solicit user Top 10's that can be the basis for future programming on all three media outlets after airing. Following each episode's TV debut, will air exclusive video clips from the television program, and also direct visitors to pick up the current issue of GamePro magazine to learn about the next Net Ten feature program in the cycle.

— The September 5th premiere episode at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT counts down the top 10 "Driving Games the DMV Doesn't Want You to Play."

— The top 10 "Modern Classics Every Gamer Should Own" will be revealed October 3rd at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT.

— The final countdown, the top 10 "Games that Didn't Meet the Hype," airs November 7th at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT.
