IDG Launches PC World Nepal

BOSTON, MA – JANUARY 10, 2002 – International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading technology media company, today announced that it has signed an agreement with the largest private publisher in Nepal to launch PC World Nepal. Kathmandu-based MD Publishing Co. Pvt. Ltd. will issue the first English-language version of PC World Nepal in late January.


PC World Nepal debuts at and will be the official publication of the CAN Info-Tech 2002, the sole technology tradeshow and conference produced to promote the growing Nepali IT sector. Targeting computer users and technology managers, PC World Nepal projects an initial folio of 76 pages and a print run of 3,000 issues for its debut issue, with half expected to be controlled circulation and the other half distributed via subscription and newsstand sales.
