IDG UK’s partnership with leading careers marketplace Jobbio

The IDG Collection

IDG UK has combined with leading careers marketplace, Jobbio, to create the largest curated technology and design jobs marketplace in the UK.

The partnership sees Jobbio becoming the jobs platform for key IDG UK websites Techworld, Computerworld UK and Digital Arts through bespoke channel technology designed to unlock the value of IDG’s UK professional Tech and creative audiences.

“Our channel technology enables us to deliver curated content relevant to the established IDG UK audience of Tech professionals,” says Jobbio CEO, Stephen Quinn.

It’s a move that Jobbio CEO Stephen Quinn says will marry IDG UK’s high quality audiences with Jobbio’s innovative two sided careers marketplace. It gives IDG UK’s readers access to bespoke careers oriented content, the ability to learn more about potential new employers and apply for jobs. For employers, the partnership puts their company profile in front of the highest quality technology and creative professionals in the UK.

According to Stephen Quinn, “We’ve had phenomenal growth in the UK and US in the last 12 months but this partnership proves that it’s just the beginning. The best partnerships solve problems and that’s what we’re doing.”

The partnership combines Jobbio’s platform, customer base and talent with the IDG Collection’s talented community of over 13.5 million technology and design users to ensure client companies reach the most relevant, engaged and technologically aware candidates.

Adding to the offering, the combination of IDG UK’s editorial expertise and Jobbio’s in-house careers content team will populate IDG UK’s sites with compelling, inspiring and vibrant careers focused content.

For Luc Borg, Enterprise Publishing Director of IDG UK, it’s an opportunity to deliver its audience a unique and curated world class careers offering.

“We are delighted to partner with Jobbio, and thoroughly enjoy working with its entrepreneurial team.

“This partnership allows us to create a collection of three bespoke marketplaces: Techworld Jobs, Computerworld UK Jobs and Digital Arts Jobs. Through these dedicated hubs we will connect our audiences with employers looking to recruit the UK’s top Tech and design talent.”

“Each website will feature unique expert guides and tips that help to further the careers of our audience members, alongside a jobs platform powered by Jobbio that will allow our users to view employer profiles, follow companies they aspire to work for, and apply for that crucial next job opportunity.”

Jobbio’s CEO, Stephen Quinn, has said that their intelligent channel matching technology is key.

“It’s about getting the right jobs in front of the right people and we’ve got the platform to do that on a global scale.”
