IDG Wins Four Maggie Awards From The WPA
BOSTON, April 30, 1998– International Data Group (IDG), the world’s leading IT media company, walked away with four Maggies for editorial or design in the annual West Coast competition of excellence in magazine publishing. PC World Online and PC World won for "Best Online Publication" and "Best Single Editorial Illustration" respectively, while InfoWorld was honored as "Best Trade Tabloid" and Publish as "Best Computers and Telecommunications Trade Publication."
With this recognition, IDG continues its record of receiving more editorial awards than any other company in its category.

The Maggie Awards are hosted annually by the Western Publications Association (WPA), the only organization of magazine publishers west of the Mississippi. WPA membership encompasses more than 500 consumer and trade publications. The 1998 Maggies were selected from over 1700 entries in 63 categories and presented at a special ceremony held recently in Los Angeles. IDG had finalists in more than a dozen categories.
