IDG Wins Nine Maggie Awards

BOSTON, MA – APRIL 23, 2001 – International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading IT media and information services company, took top honors in eight categories at the prestigious 2001 Maggie Awards Competition. The Western Publications Association (WPA) honored publishers for editorial and design excellence at its annual awards ceremony, Folio: West, held April 20th in Los Angeles.

 

IDG publications InfoWorld, PC World, and Macworld were recognized at the 50th annual Maggie Awards. The Maggie Awards honor the year's best editorial and design in magazines, tabloids, newsletters and online media. The Western Publications Association received over 2,000 entries in 89 categories, representing submissions from all industries.

· Best Single Editorial Illustration/Consumer (tie)–PC World, MacWorld

· Best Single Editorial Photograph/Consumer–PC World
