IDG’s CIO Magazine, Darwin Magazine and CIO.com Site Win Gold, Silver and Bronze National Awards from American Society of Business Publication Editors
FRAMINGHAM, MA – JUNE 25, 2001 — IDG's CIO and Darwin magazines win eight prestigious awards for design and editorial excellence both in print and online at the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) national awards ceremony.
Veteran CIO magazine (launched in 1987) is recognized for continued excellence with a Gold and Silver award for "Best Case History" and "Government Coverage" respectively. "Best Case History" winner, "The Money Pit," by Meridith Levinson, is from the December 1, 2000 issue of CIO. Several CIO editors and designers contributed to this award-winning report.
"Case histories are a core component of CIO's editorial and wining Gold in such a revered category is an honor to our editorial staff and those that worked on

The Darwin magazine design team is honored with three gold awards by the ASPBE judges, including "New Publication Design," "Content Page," and "Overall

Darwin is also awarded Silver for best "New Publication."
