IDG’s InfoWorld Wins Three Maggie Awards, Including Best Trade Tabloid For Fourth Year In A Row
SAN MATEO, CA – MAY 1, 2000 – IDG's InfoWorld today announced that it won three Maggie awards, including the fourth consecutive year as Best Trade Tabloid. InfoWorld's three Maggie awards was the highest win over any other technology publishing company in the annual Western Publication Association's Maggie Awards competition.
The Maggie award for Best Trade Tabloid was based on strict guidelines foreditorial and design excellence. In addition to Best Trade Tabloid, InfoWorld was awarded a Maggie for Nicholas Petreley's "Down to the Wire" column in the category of Best Regularly Featured Department, Section or Column, and a Maggie for Best Non-Paid/Trade publication (with a circulation more than 50,000).
