IDG’S ITworld.com Partners with Experts Exchange To Develop Expert Advice

BOSTON– 01/26/2000 — ITworld.com, International Data Group's (IDG) problem-solving network for IT professionals, to be launched in February, and Experts Exchange(TM), the number one knowledge sharing community on the Web, have agreed to jointly develop Expert Advice, integrating topic-specific technical and product support into the ITworld.com network.

Expert Advice will use the Experts Exchange's points system E-conomy(TM), a points-based incentive and grading system that allows its users to rate the quality of its experts' answers. Members grade the responses generated from experts answers, resulting in high-quality content.

Experts Exchange has more than 45,000 registered experts and more than 175,000 unique visitors to the site every month. More topics continue to be added to its current 80 areas, and on average, most questions are answered in less than one hour. With this partnership, ITworld.com's users will be able to enjoy the pre-established community that Experts Exchange has created.
