IDG’s Mac Publishing LLC Hires Rob Griffiths, Acquires Leading Mac Tips Site

SAN FRANCISCO, June 1, 2005 — Today Mac Publishing LLC announced the appointment of founder Rob Griffiths as Senior Editor at both Macworld magazine and, as well as its acquisition of the Mac OS X Hints web site itself. Griffiths and will both continued to be based in Portland, Oregon, with Mac OS X Hints remaining a standalone site for the foreseeable future. Since the site's inception in November 2000, Griffiths and the members of the Web site’s community have generated thousands of tips and tricks that make using Mac OS X and its related applications more productive.
