IDG’s Network World Announces Top Sales Executive Promotions

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – JUNE 5, 2000 -Network World Inc., the Leader in Network Knowledge, in response to the publication's strong growth in advertising pages and its number one leadership position in the market, has expanded and enhanced its advertising sales management structure. Effective immediately:

 

Sandra Kupiec, Advertising Director, has been promoted to the new position of Associate Publisher, Western Region. Based out of the publication's San Mateo, CA office, Kupiec will work with her West Coast team to develop new business and build strategic relationships with key customer accounts. Kupiec has been with Network World for over 12 years and has served in sales positions of increasing responsibility.

Tom Davis, Advertising Director, has been promoted to the new position of Associate Publisher, Eastern Region. Davis joined Network World in 1996 as East Coast Regional Manager and was promoted shortly thereafter to Advertising Director. Davis will be responsible for landing new business and building strategic customer accounts for the Eastern Region, while managing his East Coast sales team from Network World's Paramus, New Jersey office.

Dan Gentile, Midwest Regional Manager, has been promoted to the new position of Midwest Regional Director. Gentile has been with Network World since 1990, developing new business and increasing advertising sales in the Midwest and Central area. Gentile will continue to play an important role in sales management, while increasing his advertising base with key customer accounts.
