IDG’s Network World Appoints Two Regional Ad Directors
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (January 26, 1998) – Network World, the leading newsweekly of enterprise network computing, today announced the appointment of two Regional Advertising Directors. Effective immediately, Network World Regional Managers Sandra Kupiec and Tom Davis have been promoted to Advertising Director, Western Region and Advertising Director, Eastern Region, respectively. The promotions come after another banner year for Network World, which experienced dramatic increases in both revenue and market share.
Newly assigned Advertising Director, Western Region, Sandra Kupiec, promoted from West Coast Regional Manager, has been with Network World for over ten years. "Sandra has increased our West coast market share and pages considerably, while simultaneously establishing an incredibly solid sales team in her region," said Carol Lasker, Associate Publisher of Network World. Kupiec, based out of Network World's Santa Clara, California office, manages a team of seven.
Tom Davis, promoted from East Coast Regional Manager to Advertising Director, Eastern Region, has been with Network World for just over a year and a half. "In a surprisingly short time, Tom has increased our market share, pages and revenue on the East coast," said Lasker. During his short tenure, Davis has also designed and implemented Network World's innovative and successful internal A/E training program, said Lasker.
