IDG’s Network World Celebrates Best Month Ever in May and Continues to Lead in Total Ad Pages Amongst Competitors
SOUTHBOROUGH, MA. – JUNE 2, 2000 – Network World Inc., the Leader in Network Knowledge, enjoyed its best month ever last month, achieving 428 total advertising pages. Network World has also been the official market leader for nearly two years with the highest number of total ad pages of all networking publications. The newsweekly's ad page total for the month of May was up 54% over the same month last year and represents the best month in the newsweekly's 14-year history.
According to Computer Publishing & Advertising Report (CPAR), Network World is the display and supplement ad page leader over all networking publications. In 1999, Network World led the market with a total of 2,598 ad pages, followed by second place Network Computing with 2,453 pages, and third place Internet Week with 1,839 pages.
