IDG’s Network World Presents 1997 User Excellence Awards
WASHINGTON, DC (January 29, 1998) — Network World, the leading newsweekly of enterprise network computing, yesterday at a special presentation during ComNet announced the winners of its prestigious 1997 User Excellence Awards. Network World's User Excellence Awards program honors organizations for their innovative and effective use of network technology to achieve corporate objectives.
Wednesday morning in the Grand Ballroom at the Renaissance in Washington, DC, Network World editor-in-chief John Gallant presented awards to the two 1997 recipients: Duke University, and transport and logistics company J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. The recipients were also profiled in the December 29/January 5 special year-end Power Issue of Network World.
