International Data Group Publications Win Four Gold Awards for Excellence Presented by Folio: Magazine
BOSTON, MA – OCTOBER 27, 2006 – International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading technology media company, has been recognized for superior editorial and design with four gold, two silver, and three bronze awards in the annual Folio: competition. Macworld took home a gold for best Technology/Computing magazine as well as a gold for Best Feature Design. Computerworld earned the top honor for business-to-business editorial in Technology/Computing and InfoWorld received a gold for Best Cover design in the business-to-business category.
The Eddie editorial awards and Ozzie design awards are based on how well publications fulfill their mission statements, the quality of their content and how the overall design and production supports their mission. Publications and web sites were recognized in 84 categories.

— Computerworld: A gold for best b-to-b editorial in the Technology/Computing category
— InfoWorld: A gold for Best Cover design
— CIO: A bronze in the Feature Design category for “Federal IT Flunks Out” in the May 15, 2006 issue
— PC World: A silver for editorial excellence in the consumer Technology/Computing category for the November 2005 “All Security” issue, a silver and a bronze for best use of Digital Imagery for “Get More Out of Your PC” in the March 2006 issue and “The Best (And Worst) ISPs” in the June 2005 issue, along with a bronze for best Media Kit design
