Introducing The Ovations New Award Will Honor Service Provider Executives for Leadership Excellence
WASHINGTON, D.C., – October 15, 1999 – A unique, new award program designed to honor the leaders of service provider innovation has been announced by tele.com magazine and ComNet Expo. The inaugural Ovations honors will be presented at ComNet 2000 in January to recognize individual achievements in technology, products, services, business, and legislative policy. Ten winners will be selected by a panel of judges and tele.com editors from nominations made by the public.
The inaugural Ovations ceremonies will be held Tuesday evening, January 25 during ComNet 2000, the industry's premier networking communications technology conference and exposition. ComNet runs January 25, 26 and 27, 2000 at the Washington, D.C. Convention Center.
Ovation honors will be presented in these categories:

In addition, an Innovator 2000 award will be given to the service provider professional whose work has showcased strategic and business leadership, vision, and innovation in the past year.
