Larry Ellison Added To Keynote Lineup At LinuxWorld Conference & Expo

A Linux Roadmap for the Data Center, presented by Witham, will discuss existing and new projects developed by OSDL's Data Center Working Group to bring Mission Critical capability to Linux, including an explanation of its implications to corporate IT organizations. Witham will cover the requirements for a data center grade Linux and the projects that are needed to make it happen. This session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14 at 10:30 am.

Free Software, Real Money: Implementing Linux in the Global Enterprise, presented by Bauer, which will address issues describing the opportunity, timing, challenges, strategies and tactics involved in using Linux for competitive advantage in the world of global financial services. Credit Suisse First Boston is implementing Linux as its first new application development and deployment platform in almost a decade. Bauer will provide a view into CSFB's experiences and lessons learned in implementing enterprise Linux. This session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14 at 10:30 am.
