Linux Journal and IDG World Expo Announce Winners of Product Excellence Awards at LinuxWorld San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – AUGUST 17, 2006 – Linux Journal, the original monthly magazine of the Linux community, in conjunction with IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for technology markets around the globe, today announced the winners of the Linux Journal Product Excellence Awards at LinuxWorld. The winners were recognized in a ceremony held at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo San Francisco, August 14-17 at the Moscone Center.
The Linux Journal Product Excellence Awards distinguish product and service innovations by LinuxWorld exhibitors and are divided into 13 categories, including an overall "Best of Show" award.
"All of the judges were very impressed by the nominations we received; it was a very difficult decision. We've seen many new innovations, and improvements on old favorites," commented Linux Journal Products Editor and Product Excellence Awards judge James Gray.
