LinuxWorld San Francisco Kicks Off Next Week

ALACOS (booth 1417) will announce two new products: Linux Migration Agent Network Server Edition simultaneously migrates multiple desktop computers from Windows to Linux using a centralized, programmable server. Thin Client Migration Agent simultaneously migrates multiple fat client systems to thin client systems using a centralized, programmable server.
APPRO (booth 126) will announce the Appro XtremeBlade, the next generation blade solution offering Infiniband interface to all external data and storage networks. Tuesday, August 9 – Thursday, August 11 at 1:00 p.m., LPI will be conducting the LPI 101 exam in Room 2001. The proctored exams are free to all conference delegates, and a special discounted price of $25 is also offered to all exhibitors and exhibit hall attendees. Microsoft and Google at the Golden Penguin Bowl Trivia Game: The infamous geek trivia game returns with host Jeremy Allison of Novell. This year, representatives from Microsoft Corporation and Google Inc. will take part in the trivia game on Tuesday, August 9 at 4:30 p.m.
