Macworld Conference & Expo to Showcase Industry Leaders
FRAMINGHAM, MA – DECEMBER 12, 2000 – IDG World Expo, producers of innovative IT conferences and expositions, announced today that two major leaders in the Macintosh community will be featured speakers at the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo. The event is slated for January 9 – 12, 2001 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
"Macworld Conference & Expo is the dominant IT event on the West Coast. It’s thriving thanks to the participation of leading industry experts, the creation of bold new conference elements and a continued focus on meeting the needs of Mac users," said Charlie Greco, president and CEO, IDG World Expo.
Both featured speakers have made a substantial mark in the Mac community. Kevin Browne, General Manager of the Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft, has played a key role in the development of award-winning products like Office 98 Macintosh Edition. Greco added, "We’ve got ourselves two heavy-hitters in Kevin Browne and Rob Burgess. Our attendees come to Macworld Conference & Expo to hear from the leaders and innovators who are creating the next wave of development. It should be quite a wave for all of us to ride," he said.

Scheschareg continued, "Companies would be hard-pressed to find a better marketing opportunity than Macworld Conference & Expo. Our exhibitors know that.
