Macworld Magazine Returns to IDG As a Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

BOSTON, MA – OCTOBER 10, 2001 – International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading technology media company, today announced it has become the sole owner of Mac Publishing, LLC, previously a joint venture between IDG and Ziff Davis Media Inc.

 

Headquartered in San Francisco, Mac Publishing publishes Macworld magazine, the world's leading independent Macintosh publication as well as Macworld.com and MacCentral.com on the Web. This acquisition makes IDG, producer of Macworld Conference & Expo, the world's largest source of targeted information for the Macintosh industry.
