Manufacturing Insights Appoints Industry Veteran Kimberly Knickle to Research Program Director
FRAMINGHAM, MA – OCTOBER 19, 2006 – Market research and advisory services firm, Manufacturing Insights (an IDC company), announces the appointment of Kimberly Knickle to research program director. A renowned industry thought leader in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) strategies, she will contribute research and analysis related to the process industry, specifically focusing on areas of information technology (IT) strategies and process innovation.

Knickle brings with her an extensive background in sharing her expertise with the manufacturing industry. Prior to joining Manufacturing Insights, Knickle served as an independent consultant specializing in business and IT strategy. Prior to her career in consulting, Knickle held senior positions at industry analyst firms including AMR Research, Hurwitz Group, and Charles River Strategies.

Early on in her career, Knickle held various roles in marketing, engineering, and executive management at companies such as Entre Computer Center, Boston Center for Computer Applications, and Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. Knickle is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management, where she earned her MBA degree. She also holds a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
