Manufacturing Insights Broadens Research Coverage With Addition of Leading Industry Analyst to Cover Supply Chain Strategies
FRAMINGHAM, MA – MARCH 30, 2005 – Manufacturing Insights, an IDC Company, today announced the addition of Bob Ferrari, program director, Supply Chain Strategies, to augment the company's strength in this industry and leverage Bob's vertical experience in the high tech/ electronics manufacturing industries.

With more than 25 years of industry and research analyst experience, Bob comes to Manufacturing Insights with a strong background in business planning, supply chain, customer support and order fulfillment processes. Most recently, he served as Director, SCM Business Development for SAP AG, with global responsibility for product marketing, market positioning and business development for mySAP SCM solutions. As program director, Supply Chain Strategies, Bob's primary responsibilities will include research into the key process capabilities for The Agile Supply Chain.
Prior to SAP, Bob held management and IT systems implementation positions at Oracle Corporation, Sun Microsystems, Thinking Machines Corporation, and Digital Equipment Corporation in the manufacturing, supply chain, customer support and information technology sectors. His information technology experience includes full systems life cycle program management within a broad range of supply chain processes in Web-based and database applications. In addition, Bob is a longstanding member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and is APICS (The Educational Society for Resource Management) certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
