Network World Honored with a Gold in International TABPI Awards
SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – June 30, 2005 – Network World, the leading Network IT media company, announced today that it has been honored with six awards for editorial excellence from Trade Association Business Publications International (TABPI) in its 2005 'Tabbie' awards. These awards come on the heels of the eight ASBPE awards won last week.
Network World received a Gold Award for the best article in the 'Editor's Column' category with an entry titled "When Silence Speaks Volumes" which took vendors to task for not responding to criticisms aired by the company, and received a Silver Award for its 'How to' article "Fight Back Against Spyware". Other honors include garnering the number seven position (of 25) for the Feature Article "Phear of Phising" and number 16 (of 25) for the Best Single Issue for its June 21, 2004 issue.
The annual 'Tabbie' awards recognize editorial and design excellence for trade, association and business publications. This year's competition attracted more than 700 entries from around the world in 12 editorial and six design categories.
