Network World Reveals the Elite in Enterprise Network Products

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – NOVEMBER 11, 2002 – Network World, the Leader in Network Knowledge, announced its 2002 Best of the Tests Award winners. This award is bestowed on top-ranked products and services as selected from a field of 230 enterprise products and services tested during the past 12 months. The Network World Global Test Alliance, a group of industry experts, network integrators, independent testing houses and universities, tested products and services from more than 170 companies separated into 13 distinct product categories.


"The Best of the Tests winners withstood rigorous hands-on testing and are declared the "best" because they outperformed or out featured similar products or services in the tested category," commented Christine Burns, global test alliance director for Network World. New this year to the Best of the Tests review program are two "Cool Tools" categories. These new entries represent products tested as part of Network World's weekly Cool Tools column, which provides weekly glances at high-tech gizmos and software that can provide value to end-users' productivity.
