Network World’s Year Long Testing Reveals Best Products
SOUTHBOROUGH, MA – January 21, 2005 – Network World, Inc. announced the finalists for its sixth annual Best of the Tests awards that will conclude with winners being revealed in its Best Products issue on February 28. As a culminating event to its Clear Choice test program, Network World's Lab Alliance – an alliance of 13 independent product testers who are industry experts, university affiliates or members of independent labs – have weighed the attributes of all 260 products that were tested throughout 2004. This year, 42 Best of the Tests finalists were selected across eight categories.
"The finalists for Best of the Tests are selected from those vendors that scored the highest in the almost weekly Network World Lab Alliance product tests combined with the Lab Alliance and editorial team's assessment of how much the product will rock the networked world," said Keith Shaw, senior editor, product testing.
