Syndicate Conference Announces All-Star Line-up of Speakers including Jeff Jarvis, Robert Scoble, Richard Edelman, Doc Searls and Others

FRAMINGHAM, MA – February 23, 2006 – IDG World Expo today announced the powerful keynote line-up for Syndicate(TM), scheduled to take place May 16-17, 2006 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York. Keynoters will include: Jeff Jarvis, well-known columnist, critic and blogger; Robert Scoble of Microsoft Research; Richard Edelman of Edelman PR; Amanda Congdon of Rocketboom; Steven Schwartz of Reuters; and Doc Searls, author of The Cluetrain Manifesto. — Amanda Congdon, star and host of Rocketboom – the most popular video blog on the Internet – will bring her humor, perspective and insight around the rise of participatory content and new models of ad-supported syndication.

— Steve Gillmor, a ZDNet contributing editor, a Release 1.0 contributing writer, and host of the Podshow weekly Web radio program "The Gillmor Gang," will explain the dynamics of the rising attention economy in his keynote address, "It's the Gestures, Stupid!"

— Doc Searls, Senior Editor at Linux Journal and co-author of the bestseller, The Cluetrain Manifesto, will close the conference with his unique views on the "Return to Producerism: Understanding the Value of the Two Way Web."
