Winners of Product Excellence Awards Announced at Linuxworld Conference & Expo

NEW YORK – JANUARY 22, 2004 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for technology markets around the globe, has announced the winners of the Product Excellence Awards at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo®, held this week at the Javits Center in New York City. Presented in conjunction with the UniForum Association, the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Awards recognize product and service innovations by LinuxWorld exhibitors.

Divided into ten product categories, the LinuxWorld Product Excellence Awards represent major areas of innovation in the Linux and open source community. Judging the entries were: Alan Fedder of UniForum Association, Dee-Ann LeBlanc of LinuxWorld Magazine, and Brian Profitt of Linux Today.

The “Best of Show” award, which recognizes the best total industry solution, was presented to IBM for IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 6.5 for Mozilla on Linux.
